I saw this little Excel demo today; a cool idea, with an excellent write-up. Good stuff, Peter.
Since I don't have Excel, I did a quick port of the wireframe demo to OpenOffice.org Basic (which I don't know - I'm sure it could be done better).
This works for me, although it's very slow and I don't seem to have got the pixels in the right places. And I've managed to make it crash Calc (woohoo!) sometimes when I close the document without stopping the animation. You've been warned.
I might have a bash at the shaded demo later, but I doubt it.
